So here is my first try at painting a backdrop.

Im going to go back and touch up a few spots, but you can get the general idea. It's a little cartoonish, but I was really just getting a feel for the paints more than create a masterpiece. My camera doesnt pick up the fluorescent quality under blacklight without blurring the bejeesus out of it, so here it is in normal light.
Suggestions? Criticisms? etc?
Next time I think Im going to go more along the lines of a perspective piece-ie lots of geometrical shapes and such. I had a difficult time keeping the thickness of the lines I was painting constant. Any suggestions on that?

oh yeah--note the stylish ruffles along the edges of the pillow case. I havent figured out what to do with those yet...

hey dude.... ur creativity is good ! u did a good job man.... but ddude.... first thing .... ur character has expressions but does seem cartoonish..... so i wud comment tht either try making it serious character or try making ir completely cartoonish.... coz both these factors r mixing in ur painting.... let it jus be one thing.... then it'll be much more smarter.... but n e ways too its cool 
second thing.... change the face shape a bit.... give it sum more curves....
&&& wat is the basic idea behind having a fluoro painted pillow cover???

U DO HAVE A VERY GOOD FINISHING MAN..... THTS THE BEST PART...... & UR CONCEPT IS ALSO

What do you mean "turn it" and "offside look" orensob?
And I painted a pillow cover because I wanted to start small and I couldnt find canvas the right size that wasnt really expensive. I definitely wouldnt want to sleep with that as my pillow haha

What he probably meant was to turn the photo of the canvas the right way around..as in vertical, not horizontal.
