IMPLOSION "9th Act"
"When you are on the dance floor and the music surrounds you, the beat hits
you in your stomach and collapses inside you, that is Implosion"
You are on the dance floor, you close your eyes, the music is making your whole body vibrate with a delicious energy, you feel the beats inside you… the energy of the rhythm lightens your spirit and a smile hatches in the pit of your stomach, warming you, it moves its way up and erupts to light up your face… and your body begins to sway… that is Implosion…
Implosion has slowly been building a reputation for a fantastic party with friendly vibe. As music lovers we aim to bring a variety of music to your eardrums. Selecting DJ’s old and new to the scene who share our passion for psychedelic trance & progressive sounds. The sounds are always complimented by fluffy feel good Pickle visuals.
The party which goes out of its way to create a good vibe will aim to surpass the last (and this is saying allot as the last party was incredible!). On the psychedelic floor there will be an alignment of psychedelic sights and sounds highlighted by guests: Mick Chaos, co-founder of Chaos Unlimited, Andi Leppard of Jarred, Bristol and Sean Rudz of 666, Bristol under a planetary landscape of backdrops, mobiles and visuals depicting fluffy creatures zooming through psychedelic mushroom-fuelled space; it’s enough to bring a smile to any face. Implosion is a party that is on the up and up and taking a trip to the relatively new Implobeats room upstairs you can submerge yourself in the sub-aquatic décor in an ocean of the smooth progressive, ambient, psy-dub sounds of Christian SKY (IDSpiral), NicNoName (Frolic) and Implosion residents including a special psy-dub set from Jay OM with a twist to keep you swimming.

After meeting Phil Able and hearing him play, I think I'll have to check out Implosion when I'm in town in March! Keep up the great work!

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of the Implobeats room for the party on Saturday.
Upon returning from France earlier this week we were informed that the George IV had been having a few licensing issues and they were uncertain as to whether the second room could still be used. They have since confirmed with us that the second room is not available for use as it is not covered by their license. However, hopefully in the not too distant future they will have done the necessary improvements required by the council to licence the second room and we’ll be back on full form again.
Please note: This does not in any way effect the main room downstairs and we’ll still blow your socks off in true Implosion style!!
The line-up for the night will be as follows:

00.00-01.00 Evil Twins vs.Toxigen

hmm.. £6 with a flyer.. where might these flyers be? can i print one off the net?
i work in licensing so i understand how frustrating it is dealing with this beaurocratic crap. from january im making a concerted effort to try and reform whatever tiny part of whatever council's licensing policy and prevent more parties being hampered. why allow people to buy alcohol for 24 hours 7 days a week and yet shut down a dancefloor inside a club??

WOW!! IMPLOSION 9th "Act" what a fantastic night!!
Thanks to everyone that came along to Implosion and a BIG super thanks to everyone involved in the making of this cool party!

We are a super team hey!
What about the music?! Gosh we had great flowing music all night from all the DJ's! Christian Sky, Andi Leppard, Evil Twins & Toxigen, Fordy, Phil Able, Mick Chaos & Sean Rudz, all of them made me feel the beat inside!!
