i saw those two versions of the mac powerbook G4...what does it mean "widescreen"? i think if the the screen is wider, also the inch's change......

screen sizes are measured diagonally so if the distance between the upper right corner and the lower left corner is 17" then it is 17" regardless of the format it´s in. normal crt screens are not measured exactly this way. on those it is the outer measurements that manufacturers use, thus making a 17" crt effectively a 16" in most cases.           Mastering available here:
