Following an outstanding first six months which has seen some of the greatest trance labels and artists in the world pass through the studio delivering some of the finest and upfront psy trance around, each in their own unique style, for our first show of 2006 we are proud to welcome Transient Records into the studio with label boss Greg Coyle alongside head of A&R Kristian.
Founded in 1994, this West-London based label was one of the first pioneering psy trance labels set up on the ethos of only releasing cutting edge, ass shaking dance floor monsters around the world over the years, Transient has released music from artists including Cosmosis, Slide (Now part of the Corburn project with Tim Healy), Astral Projection, Eskimo, Talamasca, Orion, Silicon Sound, Wizzy Noise, Quirk (Ex Project of Tim Healy), Atmos, Son Kite, Logic Bomb, Astralasia and many more.
Greg Coyle owner of Transient and it’s sister label, the more progressive label ‘Automatic’ has been actively involved in the dance scene for over ten years with previous careers involving working as a booking agent, DJ, A&R, producer and much more, Greg has been at the forefront of the progressive and psychedelic scenes for many years. Now firmly focused on the re-launch of Transient, Greg will be playing a selection of classic and future releases
Kristian is a well known face on the Uk psy trance scene, alongside Transient, Kristian is resident at his own Chichime parties as well the UK’s biggest indoor psy-events Antiworld/ ES Collective’ which alongside compiling three albums for Transient has seen him DJ the world over.
Last summer he played at many of the European Festivals:Glade.Uk,Full Moon.Ger, Freedom.Por,Sonica.It,Electromind.Fr,Middle Earth.Dk,and Heron.Bel.
Working with Kalimamboh on a new live project ‘Deja Voo’ and compiling the Transient come back compilation entitled Ressurection, 2006 will be very busy for him.
2006 is already shaping up nicely for New Wave Radio, Launching with Transient Records showcase in the new year, February’s show will be a ‘Soulclipse Special’ featuring guest mixes from artists performing at the forthcoming 8-Day solar eclipse festival in Turkey in March 2006 (more info www.soulclipse.com) The show will include Sally Doolally, DJ Penn, Edoardo (Neurobiotic) Hydrophonic and many more, March will feature Liquid Records featuring amongst others Liquid Ross, So turn on, tune in or miss out!
