The festival was good, overall....
It was definitely a ROOTS party, very underground!

ok ..my review to this one .. my name was in the flyer , i was contacted to play at this event one time .. after this no calls from the promoter or emails .. no contract ..no transport .. not even a message to tell me what was going on ...indeed NO RESPECT at all . Shame on you promoters

that's right..no respect at all....
for this "party" we were supposed to be paid less than HALF of our normal price.
the party organizer didn't pay us at all.
as i was leaving, the "organizer" couldn't even give me gas money for the trip home...
this "party" SUCKED!!!!!!! |

what was that ,where was the line up ,i didnt saw space tribe ,shiva yorg the only big names didnt played and also the others djs and lives i didnt saw even half of the line up,what about the mood ,the cars could not go away ,people had to stay there ,the chill out no cdj to small ,and what about the lie of ibama 50.000 reais tax ,itas a big lie dont exist tax of ibama on this price ,why the party just began saturday evening ,i heard about all djs and lives are rely pissed of no way to come bck home and they only have right to have a pf and a soda per day ,its desuman ,thats what i call big shit |

I'm sorry for the dj's who didn't get their money.... I can't do anything, as I was NOT organizing this party... All I can say is that I saw some dj's getting paid, some dj's getting GAS money and some others NOT getting ANY money.... what is definitely not a good thing, because I am also a dj.... I got some of my GAS money, which I thought was too little, but what could I have done? Kick, punch, fight with the organizers ??? Believe me, they lost a lot of money on this party..... I can do nothing.... So I'm not gonna be here saying bad things about the organizers, because I'm not like that.... I agree with wsantos, that people should not do parties without money to cover all expenses.... but if they do, now everyone knows who is doing these parties, whos going to pay dj's or who will not pay dj's.... simple as that! The dj's who were not happy playing for these organizers and parties, don't play again for them if they invite you.... Simple as that!
This is not the first time it happens, and it will not be the last.... believe me.
One piece of advice: DJ's who are really professionals (or call themselves professionals) ask for contract BEFORE the party, even if the organizers are your friends, because thats your job, thats what you do, right??

I was drive 1.850 kilometers to Itamonte_MG, to see a ugly party, no good recpetion, no ligths, no fluor decor, no djs organizate, no line up working, no CDJ box on chill out, no clean bathrooms...
break the promise.
i can't belive.

no comments about the festival for now.
but a little comment about someone called PAULO PAULADA, from belo horizonte, the guy who was organizing the chillout area at the festival de musica quantika. when the sound was turned off, at the middle of my set (about 45 minutes), someone told me to play on the chillout because it was not too loud there (the police was at the door asking to turn the sound system off) . no problem about it. i broght the cdj case at my own hands, took it to the chill to play to some 30 persons. then, this guy plugged his headphone, told me he was the owner of the chillout and he´d play at that moment, told me to get away, then pushed me, said "F*%# YOU" to me and still showed a little knife to anne, a friend´s girlfriend. how could possibly a person like that be included on a trance party is a mistery. this is no trance spirit. this is pig spirit. man, where side do you pump from? dont tell us this a lie because i have good witness. you are a shame to the brazilian trance scene. soononmoon crew will never again be involved on a project where you are working with. and whenever we could say the truth about your person, we´ll do it. you are persona non grata for all of us.
this guy is here too on isratrance. his nickname here is Booom. you can read his comments on page 6 on this topic.

Hi there.
Only to say something about this guy called Paulo Paulada.
In the Cachoeira Alta Dance Festival of 2003 he was "helping" us in the chill out area too.
He "tok away" about 100 "esteiras" ( where people take a rest) and 100 colour cushions / pads ( almofadões ).
Never answered my phones, e-mails and messenger.
He probably think it easy like this...
I´ve never understand what really happened and unfortunatetly I didn´t had time to look for this guy more time, so we did news one for the 2004 version.
My partner ( Gui @ Psicotrance ) sugest him and told me he was a honest person...
Nothing personal with my partner. He was so disapointed as I.
When I read your post I understood what hapabed.
I´m still waiting...
Certain this is the same guy.
Hey Paulo Paulada, do you really think you are in the right way to continue working in the psy scene for many years doing things like this ?
If you want to solve the situation I´m still waiting.
