Well....Jack's club - or should we say Jacks Sauna...We arrived at 1:00am and queued for a long while, all my friends get pulled in by security and I get stopped despite protestations that I was with them, they had my money etc etc....waited then for an hour and a half, after they told me that they were letting no-one else in. I could not go home, no cash, no bus pass....eventually got in, but only by a friend paying the bouncer £10 extra...cheeky fuckers...
Music was good when I finally got inside, think it was Hux Flux - but fuck all room to dance, the place was way over capacity and the chillout room was more like a steam room - they really need to do something about that....
Was not a happy camper that I had to stand outside for two and half hours in total, but had an OK time in the end...music was just a little too hard and by the time Jamie Robinson surprised us, I had no legs left to dance...
If the owners of Jack's were worried about capacity problems, then they should not let precedent of money making rule over safety of party goers... |

essbee, I have to agree about the overcrowded bit.
I think that was the last Acid Monkey at the Jack's...it's too small for them at this point.

thats a really stupid thing to say when at the same time you admit to giving the bouncers back handers to get in.
