hi there
here we go with a new one, trying to go a bit faster.. also trying to get bit noisy, glitchy, choppy,, haha !
anyways,,, still I'm having serious issues with bass... still sucking with mix and master !
anyways just wanted to share... the work of today..

yeap square bass... was trying to use totally diferent things in this opus...
actually sthe square bass , is kind of the inspiration of the track, kind of old god basses,, kind of disco holli basses ,,haha nono...
but it seems that is bit hard to find the sweat sport,,, i want to keep it...

First, let me say your intro is excellent.
From 0:00 to 0:27, you got me staring at the soundcloud bar and expecting something big!
The song that starts at 0:27 has some interesting textures.
Your bass is good, but I understand why you say you're having issues.
For this kind of intro, you would need a more aggressive bass. Maybe you removed too much with the EQ? Compress it a bit more ? I don't know.

YES! Great intro! I like the bass, but it could be more powerfull somehow..
One on my fav square bass tracks is IM - Bust a move.. maybe get some inspiration there...
I know lots of ppl don't like IM but I think it's a great track...

The bass lacks bass definition and it sounds indeed too mid-y without much mojo, i would take Logic Bomb mixes as reference imho for that wobbly square bass, if you have many notches that kill wanted frequencies, take them out and use less, could also close more the freq cutoff in the bass patch to be tighter for that kick, use some nice saturation as well. Also can focus on better kick / percussion combination, timbre wise and make them tighter. Consider acoustics and good monitoring as the most crucial factors

Bass is sick , Anemic and almost dead compared your other sounds ..
Also always remember - Mello pads and atmospheres place are in the backround
(Its also a reason why you cant get an good perspective on your bass) .
For the track himself and the built of the track - The construction , Colud hear many good ideas in .
Sure need some work here and there and better mix but overal realy cool and nice .
Work on your bass (Imo even change it and make him better) More power , More comperessors and
more machines to open him and make it live and here .
