That sounds really funny en English. It is interesting how different idioms change meaning when translated. Actually, in Russian, you also say hangs.
A bit off topic, I know, but your post has put a smile on my face.
My computer got hung for a little bit too, but then I was told that I was not authorized to get access to the ftp. Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

Some computers , connected to Internet via DSL lines , and computers behind firewalls , have problem with connection to ftp servers with IE.
Try to use "Passive FTP" . Go to Internet Explorer / Tools / Internet Options / Advanced / Use Passive FTP. |

Yeah very nice and very different... finally got them all off my girlfriend's connection... had them playing over a BBQ and beers and it went down well... nice to know there's more to this scene than traditional styles |
