allright klippel, appreciating your posts..
for a clear punchy sound,
when i open a new song, i create a second folder, for the other sounds (lead, bass.)
..from there i tune all the samples.
for example,
put a compressor on delay, on reverb. also eq the reverb..
put 2 compressor on 1 sound. so it stays way more in form.
i should actually do a video, because it´s many more tricks. but the quality of the video was so bad..
be aware, sound goes trough metall, water, wood, (the neighbours room Hehe) - everything.
Therefore you have to decide if you want it soft or harder to sound...
use exoscope vst to see what you are doing. There´s simple solutions out there, for everything.

thanks for the tips , and yes you should make a video, id buy it. Imma check out those berkeley ones too. how you get that awesome bass sound? is it layered, fx..? sorry for all the questions just your mixes are some of the best sound ive ever heard, thanks! |

sounds like a video would be nice indeed.
especially the low end part would be interesting for me as its the hardest part to get fat and defined and loud.
