i changed the intro and redid the mix for this dreamy hypnotic wip.

starts with more gentle progression now and yeah not much happening there, but i like it slow.

great work in here dude, personally i´d add a nice short delayed reverb to that sound coming in at 0.59.... but thats my taste. kept simple, anyways rollin, good job.           FUCK GENRES, LOVE MUSIC!!!!

cheers mate,
yeah i actually had a reverb on that sound at first to make it sound less upfront. it sounds different and maybe better in the less crowded parts of the mix but it looses some bite in the later parts with the reverb.
kinda like the raw sound of that synth as well. but i may check again!           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

it´d open up the mix and give it much more space at the beginning which might blow my head on the floor ^^ try to ride the dry/wet or mix button. also i like to fade decay sooo, basically you could give that reverb where needed and decrease mix/wet when the song gets more air. i know which part you mean, thought you might have thought about that too ^^

anyways, just my taste, try if you like the wetride feeling or simply leave it. works ^^

Automate the reverb to be only there in the less crowded parts of the mix, very nice tune, a bit too melodic for my taste, but would be wonderful in the morning, also just nice to to relax to or when driving a car... it Klippels nicely along mate           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

thanks for commenting
@upavas: "klippels nicely along". love that statement

i played with the tracks kick bass combo a bit, and well you know how things go, changed this and that, minor tweaks, fucked the sound up somehow, deleted both and in the end i made a completely new kick & bass, lol.

its less standard psy and i like it better in this musical context.

yes its very melodic, now even more so. but you know, its for morning times and not cheesy (at least for me)

tell me which one you like better
