Exactly my thoughts kaz. And I would take your judgement anyday over some of the reviews that other ppl have given. More listening time is needed for this album, and guys dont judge an album on their samples.......cause once bought and listened to it can be apprecaited properly.
For me this was well put together since the track names all relate to the idea of the album name. It tells a story in each track about ancient times. (ie. Stone edge has typical sounds that would come from the english countryside) These tracks place images in your mind, which is something that I enjoy when dancing around.
As for the guitars >> not your normal strumming guitar samples, they JAM and go CraZy!!! That would get any dancefloor rocking, I mean come on! The peeps will go floppy, hehehehe 
And yes guys, the more u listen to this album the more you will like it. I will give it a 8/10 and my favs tracks are 1,3,4,5,9

Very good to listening at home.
fav trax - stoned hanged, rock into the future, 1001 arabian nights.
