amigo man, it's ALL a question of personal taste in the end!! Some people might find a track the best in the world while at the same time others wil find it the worst. That said, I dare you to listen to the cheese tracks from the 96 era I've mentioned and compare them to today's cheese (ie. 1200 Mics, Vibe Tribe). I'm sure you'll notice the drop in quality...

Funny you mentioned People Can fly track. In terms of cheese, for me, it's the cheesiest you can get on a track (in terms of a catchy melody). And it was the track that made me turn into trance music. I simply love it.
Vibe Tribe album is one of the best this year. Their music makes me happy, so it's all it takes for me to considerer it good.
I just dont make that assumpiton that cheese=bad, one assumption that most people do in this forum. |

come on ! its not that bad.. what about track 5 ? its a blast! normally im not into guitar-trasher-trance, but this works just fine.. he he, everytime i hear it i start to think of sting's sending out an s.o.s. ..dont know why, but its like the guitar is singing..

Oh well, let's just keep it to the fact that there are still enough people out there that like this. I've heard my friend's (legally bought @ psyshop by the way) copy some times now and although there's nothing new going on, this isn't bad at all. Most people here are just anti-GMS because they can't take it that they release so much stuff. Well, I can tell you this: GMS can bury me in their stuff as long as it sounds like this and NOT like the X-Dream album everyone is so worked up about. And don't get me started on that one, because IMO that's the most over-anticipated crap that came out in 2004 to date.

funny you mention that...i was just listening to this album...I think that it can be considered the WORST album of 2004!
All the tracks are very melodic, but the melodies sounds way simple and childish for me. Mainsteram pop I would call it and definately not psytrance.... |

I believe that 1200 micrograms is one left of a generation that used to tell stories through their psychedelic music... and that is what I like about them and always will... ok they use that typical morning fullon formuala but everybody does...they were one of those who fucking invented it!!! it is how you use it...
Vibe tribe ??? shit that is just one melody kick after another, easy to create no real ment feeling at all...you'll like it the first 5 times listen and then never again...
When I listen to goa I want the feeling that is thought trough and people really did put some time in it creating...
1200 mics uses lots of different sounds and samples what I like... those goa releases go on forever...
CHEEZY ???? how can you call this cheezy??? if 1200 mics time machine is cheezy then every melodic goa release of 2004 can be called cheezy... but maybe that is  ...
still all the bad reviewing makes me feel how hip the goa scéne has become & how cool it is to write negative about gms, infected and al those other artist who gave us the best feeling ever years ago...
respect for what's been done is no where around here in isratrance and I feel very sorry for that...
100% keep up the good work 1200 mics...

People is giving their fair opinion about the album, some people like it, others don't, but you're bashing Vibe Tribe "off-topically", for free and without any respect!

I was refering to the brake down gms, infected mushroom hype... not respect in generally but respect those who have created & proved thereselves... like gms & infected...Of course it's ok not to like an album that's what taste is all about...It's ok not to like 1200 mic's but I'm refering to the hype... look at other forums and you'll see that this one is really different on reviewing... sorry men... my opinion and always will be...
My response of vibe tribe was a respons on earlier 'post replys' so don't ge me started on being off topic...their talking about x-dream and all kind of other goa artist in this thread...saying that vibe tribe is the worst release of the year (yellow1 words)...

This album reflects awsome todays hyper production poor quality on scene .For me this album looks like somebody putted dozens of some sounds and on the end he didnt get anything.No anything worth in it for me
