1 renaissence superman
2 the cosmologist
3 speed of light
4 e=mc^2
5 language of the future
6 acid for nothing
7 d.n.a
8 www.
in my dictionary leonardo davinci stands for genious. he's definetly something that one can call a hero of the imagination, a renaissence superman so to speak of. this tune here is a relic from full on's renaissence times, late 90's that is. there's nothing new here and why should there be? this tune is definetly better than average full on track. it's melodic, energic and even psychedelic. what more can you ask? did turn the dancefloor @ samothraki on fire, yet is also suitable for home listening.
galileo galilei discovered quite a few things. he was the cosmologist. the cosmologist is pretty much another full on relic. it's the same old shit with the same old twists & tricks, never-the-less a potential dancefloor killer. not the highlight of a set, but will keep the mood up.
no idea what so ever who faraday is/was but i think he's got something to do with speed of light. there's really no idea behing speed of light either, oh but wait, actually there is! cheesy one might say, psychedelic i may add.
einstein was/is/will always be one of the smartest fcks ever. i wonder how he came up with the e=mc^2 formula. i bet he was high! anyways the boys sure were high when they came up with this tune. this is yet another psychedelic full on mayhem.
babbage was some old school computer guy. he came up with "language of the future". this tune is quite futuristic. it's futuristic full on with fine weirdness on top of it. all in all real good!
we all know who hoffman was. he did acid! tons of acid!! what the boys did here is a total rip off! how they did it? basicly they imported dire straits' money for nothing midi file to some music creation app such as reason and copied the bassline and the guitars. then they added the almighty full on drum & bassline combo on top of it. well anyways i still love it. all the samothraki 2003 visitors do!
crick & wilson & someone else whose name i can't remember received nobel price in the early 60's for they discovered dna. and they did it as a hobby. how cool is that? the style here is guitar driven full on.
tim berners lee sort of invented www. once again TIGHT tune.
well it's a crappy review but so what? pay me and i'll write a better one. anyhow this album isn't really full on even though i've said pretty much that it is. it's far more melodic/innovative/psychedelic/good than any other "full on" out there. basicly this album is REALLY good.

This, zorba and the gms remix album... that's 3 albums a year. These guys really keep the pace up. And no, I don't like the Money for Nothing Remix, it's the track that ruins every Pixel&Domestic DJ set (the best full-on DJs in Israel today). I guess that if you like GMS you'll love this. Will definately be played for the next few months in every party. Luckily for me, winter is about to start.

nice review dude
actually this is imo pretty good. i was listening to it while cleanin' my room, again and again. these tunes need a little time before they start soundin' nice. really positive suprise from tip world. if you only buy one full on album a year then let it be this one. if you are only going to get one album this month/quarter/what ever then get the shpongle remixed rather than this..
8/10

I expected more from this album from all the rap its been getting... was somewhat disappointed, i didnt hear everything and i dont see myself buying this at all... it seems to lack punch... the basslines are not strong enough for my 1200 mics taste, i'm still looking for something to compare with the 6th revelation, i think that might be their best track and i wonder why they dont make music more like that, the basslines was super thick and the effects and melodies and structure of the track were really interesting, i know 1200mics can be better then this, its a shame the album is so "tired".
i dont recommend buying this people.

Just got this album in the mail this morning and after the first couple of listens I am pretty damn happy with it...
Tracks 6 & 7 are AWESOME... And the rest isn't too bad either...
It's not reinventing the wheel.. By no means revolutionary.. But hey, it works for me...
7.5/10 for now... Might change later...

This album is a classic, it is nothing new, and that is good, I'm sick of artists reinventing themselves and that is why I have really come around to GMS and their side projects, you know what you're gonna get and it's always gonna be good... this album si full of classsic TIP World and Spun records sounds, it's fun and that is what got me into this scene in the first place, 5-6 years ago, the fun... both thumbs up for this and am looking for more from TIP World...
I'm sure that we can all hang shit on the groups who have 'cashed in' but face it, the dancefloor will always go off at any big or small party to this style, and if you can get the floor filled these days when everybody had pHD in critiscism then you deserve every darn dollar you earn! |

Hmm, funny thing. In my album track #3 is E=MC2 and track #4 is Speed of light!
Screw up by Tip.World?
Anyway, nice album but it doesn't have that special Raja Ram touch like the first one did. This one is almost pure GMS. For most of you this must be bad but i like it better this way, the album is a killer from start to finish.
