Our virtual destination is bright blue star almost invisible to our solar system, yet it is one of the most luminous stars known. We can see only 1 billionth of its light.

oh yeah, its that time again!!!
special thanks to Ghreg for joining us and our family while he is visiting southern california. Let's give him a warm, desert welcome and stomp away those post-thanksgiving calories.
we may have found a plethora of firewood and have some volunteers lined up to man the giant fire so there will be some warmth out there.
Also we have acquired a couple new shade structures so we can make a nice covered dancefloor, winds permitting. These structures survived the windstorms of Burning Man so we're very confident they'll do just fine out here.
If anybody has any artwork, sculptures, tapestries, or items to create an altar, please send us a message or just bring it on out. We want to make this a collective effort.

thanks for the kind words kent, maybe we should start selling drugs or stem cells. until then, we will utilize the fantastic west coast talent (which most of us ARE international travelling musicians, just FROM the USA) that we have......minus the international headliner bullshit and ego's Next year will tell a different story though, always thinking onwards and upwards.
now where's my rich-ass sugar-momma to help pay for these things? hahahahahaaaa!!!

we have had international talent in the past (biodegradable 2002, benza 2005) but most parties we host we prefer to expose California artists, lot's of undiscovered talent to be heard:) really, it's a shame because most of the international talent we are interested in are near to impossible to get US visas for (furious, kdd, gidra, audiopathik, skunk of satan, etc). however......ive been working on alot of these visa issues for next years events, hopefully I can get at least some of them resolved.
concerning this event: I can't stress enough about how cold and dry it has the potential of being.....so dress really warm and bring water. we will be providing free water from a dispenser (as we usually do) so bring a cup or bottle. we have two crews tending the fire this time, so it should be huge and toasty:) looking forward to having the family together again!
