solstice party with raja ram-
solid party with tsuyoshi

BABA
raja is the man for sure.. the way he plays his set really makes you nod ur head in compliance to his popularity in the psy scene... his play is unique in it's euphoric emotion and philosphical implications...
his set got me thinkin gaian, humanistic thoughts, and feelin psychedelik..

as for solstice though, wayy too corporate style in the way they organize.. it was waaay too packed, ended waay too early and plus the after hour was 3000 yen!!! hmm.. o well. i guess there really are two scenes now in japan, the one that has the matsuri-festival style vibe, overpriced, overcrowded with people who just wanna sawagu(rowdy, speedy, watever, just get crzywith energy)!!!! these parties are the ones with world-reknowned names galore. and then the second style with agreeable prices and a shanti shanti vibe.

BRO
so after party, i decided to go to cube where tsuyoshi played/ got there like 8:00, and dj yochi was playin a techno set, a good tight set, that was a perfect opener to tsuyoshi. now i had real doubts about how tsuyoshi would play, since his sets at gathering and nagisa just didn't doit for me. but when i got into cube and it was techno, it got my expectations up, cuz there was no way tsuyoshi could've played in the same kinda style he did when i saw him previously this year, and oooo boy, did he ever exceed my expectations. his set was rockin folks. no doubt about it. i couldn't actually believe it, but it was the tsuyoshi from waay bak that i loved, doin it that nite. he still is one of the best djs in japan when he wants to be... hard pumpin acid technoish psy trance.

he plays all electronic music, so when he feels like playing psychedelic then he sure do.

He is the dj, the professional one.

He still rocks for sure and look at his mix skills, it is not over-rated.

dance&smile..the money issue was more directed toward mr. raja , tsuyoshi indeed can mix no doubt about it shed, however raja cant mix. tsuyoshi is very hit or miss at a party sometimes really good sometimes horrible, as of late I feel he has not been so good. however when tsuyoshi plays as NUMANOID he doesnt play trance more funky stuff and I think it is quite good.
