Maybe there's some 'bad' VST (or too many?)..has any change to the system configuration occured since you last opened that project?

Major sequencers undergo some serious stability testing as opposed to many VSTs.
I'm running Cubase 4 and so far its been more stable for me than SX3. I've tried to run some vst that wasn't compatible with the host and then all kinds of funny shit can happen...just a thought..

my fl is with some bugs also, once i opened my project and all my audio files were missing, i had to assign it all again one-by-one =\           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

i have no viruses, nothing gets passed Spydocter - with antivirus.
it just must of been cubase AI4 and a certain plugin, what happend was i had project luckly only about 5 tracks, saved turned off, went back to it an hour later, everytime it loaded up it would freeze and jump straight to the desktop and exit by itself.
im using old cubase now. fine so far!

Dual boot that bitch.. One boot for porn/internet/douchebaggery and one NOT connected to the internet for production. Then install a light sequencer on your internet partition to throw down ideas when you're too lazy to switch over. Tiny hard drive aside, there's no reason not to.

I'm glad to see other users are having trouble controlling their porn addictions.

+1

i always thought this was kind of common knowledge. so many issues are eliminated by doing this. and there are some side benefits, like putting yourself into production "mode" and not fucking off on the forums, since the daw boot doesn't have teh intr0webz.           https://soundcloud.com/dead-end-dance

just have to dual-boot ... since there are still no x64 drivers for my virus.
they should consider calling it Virus Total-(32bit)-Integration

how about sampling spanks and moans from porn (or dialogues, if you can find any)?           http://www.myspace.com/realtimeproject

i don't get your dual-boot, no-internet-on-music-pc etc..

My PC works pretty well on WinXP, I can do everything i need, including producing, without any problems...

No games here, though...           http://soundcloud.com/aedem
