Gold Creek Ranch = Closed :'(
Thanks to a series of incidents, the main one being a stupid crew throwing a party there, and letting people get out of their car on the path into the Ranch without parking their cars properly, the Ranch was shutdown until further notice. Last time I heard they were trying to get it reopened as a permanent "Musical Heritage Foundation" location, but I don't think that has panned out to anything yet. It's too bad, maybe someday.
But luckily, we've been able to explore some other nearby outdoor locations in the absence of the Ranch, so perhaps it's a blessing in disguise? |

So a question to people that Have heard Goa Gil play.
Is he playing 24 hours of Night Dark Psychedelic Trance? Or does he change his tunes into morning full on when the sun comes up in the morning and then into more melodic Morning trance or even proggy in the early afternoon?
I guess what I am asking If there will be other styles of Trance in his set beside the obvious madness that is expected?
And do You guys think that a morning trance lover like me:) will enjoy his play? |

im gonna shit im my pants too ... i havent really heard "baba" and im not really a "dark " trance music lover either if that it stills consider as trance music but i still dont have anything against that style of music, i even listen to it once in a long while.. its just different tastes, right??? but i will still probably go and shit in the dancefloor since i love the LA crew funtastic environment so much.... shit ya there!!!

The music will change in the morning, but don't expect to hear 'mainstream' full on tracks by any means. And defnitely no proggy.

What a time to move to San Diego. First Sesto Sento and now Goa Gil. Dayam.......have never heard Gil baba. Its gonna be total freaking awesome.

goa gil does not play in 4/4 time. he plays in 1/1 times as each beat is its own psychedelic universe.
there is no other sound i can compare it to.
it needs to be experienced firsthand to understand... |
