Old & new releases that played apart in 2010 for me. Big year, got married spent most of it unemployed and learning a lot about life and stuff because of it (cheesy!)

1. Various - "FabricLive 35 - Mixed by Marcus Intalex)
http://www.discogs.com/Marcus-Intalex-FabricLive-35/release/1034899 this is probably one of the nicest cd's I own. It's very laid back and soulful drum n' bass mixed to perfection. It's my music for when I have insomnia and lie in bed with my wife snuggled up

2. Various - "Dark Room Beats" http://www.discogs.com/Various-Dark-Room-Beats/release/2384018 I only got this a few weeks ago but it's on heavy rotation, different for me than other Aleph Zero releases and it's magical!

3. Various - "The Four Elements" http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Four-Elements/release/114970 one of the best hard drum n' bass mix cd's ever made. I can't stand DJ Friction's mixing style & track selections in the last 2 years but this for me is just the best selection & mixing!

4. Galaxy - "Everlasting Tone" http://www.discogs.com/Galaxy-Everlasting-Tone/release/2438270 chillout album of the year for sure. Each track is it's own amazing journey but also a part of a whole experience of an album. Track 3 is my fav, reminds of Electric Universe back when...

5. Khaos Sektor - "Weird Basslines" http://www.discogs.com/Khaos-Sektor-Weird-Basslines/release/2344454 I hardly touched trance this year but this album really blew my mind. Some nice variety and very strong quality in sound & texture. Lovely release

6. Various- "Trancentral Six - Psychedelic Moments" http://www.discogs.com/Various-Trancentral-Six-Psychedelic-Moments/release/89502 I found this second hand at a shop for $0.50!! Some very classic tracks mixed well and was a real pleasure on my honeymoon in Japan when I wanted some music time

7. Various - "Fabriclive 50 - D-Bridge & Instra:mental Present Autonomic" http://www.discogs.com/D-Bridge-Instramental-Present-Autonomic-FabricLive-50/release/2155155 really experimental and nice electronica on this. It gets played on and off, but if you want something a bit laid back but VERY experimental get this

8. Asura - "360" http://www.discogs.com/Asura-360/release/2494764 the best laid back release this year. Many different elements but so emotional & pleasant. A great trip!!

9. Various - "Re:Evolution IV - Essence" http://www.discogs.com/Various-ReEvolution-IV-Essence/release/149973 out of the Flying Rhino mix series this is my fav as they mixed so tightly and have really great selections music wise

10. Shulman - "Soundscapes & Modern Tales" http://www.discogs.com/Shulman-Soundscapes-And-Modern-Tales/master/138531 my fav Shulma album, had to buy a new copy as my original had worn out over time. Beautiful music

+

1. Various - "Eclipse - A Journey Of Permanence & Impermanence" http://www.discogs.com/Various-Eclipse-A-Journey-Of-Permanence-Impermanence/release/77537 IMHO the best Twisted release ever. So nice and such a journey, I really like it all but the Total Eclipse track has been wow for like 12 years for me

The Galaxy album I almost let go as I wasn't blown away by the last one. This one grew on me very quickly, and really clicked about 2 weeks ago when I was down the beach (summer here) with it playing on my headphone just in that dozing state of mind and had some great non-drug/alcohol visual, physical and spiritual experiences to it. It took my mind to wonderful places

Yeah the CBL album is good but it just didn't blow me away. I'm keeping it on my phone for when I got to Malaysia for 2 weeks next week, and will see how I feel about it then but it hasn't rocked my ears in 2010           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

Hi buddy

it won't let me edit it but I'll ask the moderator to fix it, I always get confused

Yeah great music, always enjoyed your work but the album is just about as classy as hard n' dark night trance gets

Look forward to your future endeavors!

Cheers
