Way back from 2002, but a gem of a song. I've been using it on my alarm clock this week and I have to say it always starts my day on a good note (even when I have to wake up for 7AM labs)
Asha Bhosle's voice is just ethereal and Stripe's deep drawls seem to compliment it perfectly... and then there's the tabla, acoustic guitar and flutes... Pure Bliss! 
Similar feelings anyone ? |

mhh can't say the track specifically stayed in my head, and in general the whole CD didn't blow me away, if one considers what it could have been.. just too much for my taste, each song has drums from one country, voices from like 3 different countries, a melody from here, another from there... could be amazing but somehow isn't, in my opinion...maybe i just expected too much from such a cool project...
actually saw the movie that came out with the CD a few days ago, which is really damn good, the music comes across better when you see all the artists and places, and it's definately food for thought, some wise questions and quotes about western consumer life, tradition, music, people...
