* BODHISATTVA 13:20 - 2to6records, Psycircle San Diego CA
Bodhi, a.k.a. Christopher Lee Martin, is an award-winning musician [L.A. Music Awards 2003-2006] specializing in psytrance. He has been a musician all his life, playing piano by ear since early on. Bodhi enjoys experimenting with cutting-edge sound manipulation in order to open minds and increase consciousness, constantly pushing the limits. He has been involved in the goa/psy scene since 1996 and has been professionally producing electronic music and performing live sets since 2000. Over the course of his career, he has produced three psytrance albums (Excursions Through the Ancient Future [2002], Secrets of the Mojave [2005]), (Equations,[2009]), has been featured on compilations released by domestic and international labels, and toured around North and Central America as well as Europe. His side projects and collaborations include BATTERY LEAK, CILIUM, MONKS OF MADNESS, and MUBODHI, among others. Bodhi has also authored an expert tips book on Reason 3.0, which was published in summer 2005 and is available in large chain bookstores and websites. In 2007 Bodhi compiled Liquid Mind V/A, the first release on his event crew’s label, Psycircle Records, and is currently compiling a second, “Mentalism.” Look out for his crazy psychedelic, hard, playful and funky style.
* MISTER CHILL’R – RDG Music, Portland OR
Mister Chill’R is one of downtempo electronica’s most unusual personalities, releasing his debut album “Alien Unfolding” at the age of 68. He has since taken up performing at clubs in his hometown of Portland, Oregon, making a serious impression on crowds one-half to one-third his
age. Any comments on his post-retirement choice of direction are generally answered with his signature mottos, “it’s never too late to have a happy childhood” and “I’ll act my age in my next life!” His music “jumps out of the speakers with a desire to be heard, but is chilled out at the same time.” says Computer Music Magazine. * SINENSIS (aka Psynth) - Myspace, Portland OR
Sinensis, AKA jordan Lamp began producing electronic music in 2002 at the age of 15. He has traversed through several different styles and genres and has softly landed on psytrance and psy sub-genre. With synths built from the ground up, a taste for the lighter side, and a will to share joy through music, he does not plan on stopping anytime soon.

* THEE BAD PIONEER 2000 (aka Matty2k) – Chickenhed, Portland OR
Thee Bad Pioneer 2000 hails from the wild west of the future where the chickens have run the foxes out of town, where the piggies get the first course AND the sloppy seconds. This is the land of the Hed, a strange place to be fo sho but one where friends and strangers alike are always welcome. He’ll be bringin’ his own sci-fi hoe-down (bros up) to the downtown to help the fuzzy animals get down. The bounty of his musical harvest is as plentiful as the bounty for his head is high….and we do mean “high”.
* FLAK – D-A-R-K Records, Starcatchers, Portland OR
Flak started DJ’ing in 2001, starting off by spinning goa/psy on vinyl. Six months later he’d be seen playing his first gig and has instantly become a sought after DJ. Many shows ensued as Flak was spreading the psychedelic vibe. As the supply of psy vinyl releases declined, Flak decided to switch over to CD’s. This was the calling. Dark psy has now consumed him. Revive and Eager, Flak hit it hard and started ripping up
dancefloors with the hardest stuff out there. Incorporating many styles of mixing usually found from vinyl DJ’s, Flak’s live sets are highly energetic and fun to watch. In 2007, Flak joined up with D-A-R-K Records to push the limit even further. The virus is just beginning to spread…
* AARON CAMP – Deeper Events, Seattle WA
Aaron Camp has been pleasing the masses of Seattle with a wide variety of genres since 2002. He has recently located to the Portland area to bring a new flavor to the scene. Your darker self will never be the same after you indulge in the Progressive flow of ingredients that often compose his Psy-Trance mixes. Aaron enjoys Breaking the House down with various Transcending beats, but don’t expect any cliche epic moments. This is one DJ that will never let the energy down, and strives to bring it to the next level of ear candy.
* AUREI – Phantom Hertz, Portland OR
Aurei is one of the most versatile female DJ’s in the Northwest. She’s been rockin’ the club and underground scene for over 8 years. She is Indiscriminate of genre’s, and is consistently exploring new sounds. Her DJ sets would often be described as tech minimalism infused with pop & drop style breaks, but ventures far beyond any set style. We welcome her bright spirit and embrace her willingness to explore beyond traditional boundaries.
* PILTDOWN SOUND – Facebook, Wreckless Recordings, Blipswitch Digital, Portland OR
From parts unknown, Piltdown sound is a collective unearthing of noises techno, minimal and otherwise. Sometimes playing together, sometimes as a solo act, these artists are taking their live performance to events and clubs coast to coast. Their first release the Mxmux Ep on Wreckless recordings, made the the beatport charts and the charts of several DJs. They are excited to announce the upcoming release of the Techno Freak EP on Blipswitch digital and upcoming releases on Bleepsequence. |

Greetings!
Metacrew would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the efforts made

transporting the generator down the hill…
Becky and Kurt for the loan of their dome so we could play and nap in
it…

Jesiah for his awesome yellow cables…
Ren for all her efforts in bringing the sound and gathering all the needed

Last but not least, to all the participants who came to be a part of
Lights in the Sky! We could not have been there or done it without you.
Our deepest apologies for those that could not make it to this event. We know it
takes a lot of effort to come and to only get so close…we are bound and
determined to make these events more accessible in the future.
We sustained some losses of around $600 for Lights in the Sky. In
light and retrospect, we are making special Metacrew T-Shirts…stay tuned
for more details!
Triplag Music has also offered to compensate toward the losses
of our last event. Some proceeds will go towards the benefit of future
