We're starting to come together as a PsyTrance community in Arizona and PsyTrance is getting much exposure. I have some bigger shows coming up where full-on is my music of choice and I've been having major success with it on the last couple of parties I've played.

Basically, the "rave" scene here in Phoenix has recently had a shocking realization - they had to evolve or die off. Some of the more cohesive crews are doing some very interesting shows, and I hope to see a lot more events like this. I also know if Spyder says he's going to do something, it'll get done

Rickard is playing at Gaian Mind saturday morning, and then flying to Phoenix to play here saturday night. unfortunately Robert couldn't make it to the States for either show.

Big weekend this will be for stateside Psy. Arizona-based VJs will be representing both Gemini and Gaian Mind in addition to Pulsate at home.
Multi-locational synchronization! Perhaps we can arrange some sort of synchronous event on Saturday night by projecting common symbols/music/intention, in the vein of how Earthdance does it....

Yep, lots of good things are coming to fruition here in the desert. It was kinda one of those things where we were all pretty tired and fed up with what others have been providing over the years that many people just decided to take over and start doing things the way they see fit.
It sucks that I'll be @ Gemini while this event occurs but like Vostek said, us AZ VJ's will literally be out representing all over the place. |
