m.o.e. // freaks united
For two decades, Ghreg On Earth has woven a unique musical vision as DJ,
A&R manager and Producer. His dedication and passion for an intelligent,
gritty and moody musical journey, has forged a sound that is known for
it's timeless cinematic spaces that push the trance medium far beyond its
formula parameters. Meshing, Blurring and Slurring wildly diverse
stylistic elements into dancefloor alchemy, his sound has become
synonymous with adventure in the unpredictable peak of sonic apotheosis.
[[ HAKEA ]]

Memex Records . http://www.memexrecords.com/
Hakea is a laptop live PA duo based in the thriving Seattle electronic
music community. Both hail from South King County where Matt Carthum (Matt
One) experimented with tapes, records, and effects while Matt Turpin (Matt
Zero) explored FM synthesis. A dozen years later the two would meet,
discover common interests, and share a basement studio in Seattle. Their
music is an ambient and beat driven electronic mark thickly layered with
the sounds of analog and digital synthesis, drum programming, and treated
vocals. Drawing from such influences as Dykehouse, Steve Reich, Aeroc, and
Matmos Matt One and Matt Zero create ambient, improvisational dreamscapes
incorporating synthesisers, sequencers, and anything they can get their
hands on.

How coincidental... Ghreg played a party in Phoenix last year called Necropolis! Sounds cool, wish I could be there. Maybe next year another city can host another Necropolis. |

Decent party...went for the music and got it
Ghregs first hour was smashing especially the 3 tracks before Lilacs for Beltane, hehe energy was too much to handle...couldnt move away from the speaker he also played some ocelot and some penta the latter half of his set... was nice hearing Elder Sign remix the leads this man makes are on a different level, nice one
and what a cooool guy ghreg is was nice chilling
Was a bit sad to see only 15-20 people on the dancefloor... anyways personal choices i guess
Heard the first half of Devic's set...couple of tunes which i liked... Heard some Orestis, Drury Nevil etc.
Big ups to the orgz
ps - can someone tell me who the dj before Ghreg was? and can i get his contact if possible? There was a Mekkanikka track he played just before the ending track, wanted to find out which one it was...thanks |

hey all, thanks for coming out. This party came together for about a month of promotion with only the actual flyers making it out about a week in advance. So not too bad, however it could have gone smoother. it was a good party with underground intention for creating some seeds to cultivate for a stronger future. next time for sure, we will have many more people dancing with lots of energy surrounding. The sound, could have gone better, as we had a funky cable for the turbo sound.., however, we got the music and started it runnin'
Now I just hope that this will help sprout something much larger and intentional soon to follow within the coming months.
The DJ before Ghreg was Jaluka. You can find him through tribe here :::

Thank you again everyone.
truly had a blast.
bom!
